Welcome to the world of the itchen valley lacemakers.
We are a group of about 90 ladies (and 1 gentleman) of varying ages and abilities who make lace and other crafts including beading, knitting, embroidery, tatting, cross stitch and felting etc.
We meet in Southampton on the 1st saturday of each month. Most months we hold a workshop taught by experienced tutors. Twice a year we have lace days where we have guest speakers and lacemaking suppliers.
We also hold raffles and collect money for local charities. This year we are collecting for a Southampton community playlink (formally the toy library). In the past we have collected for, amongst others, first responders, breast cancer care and childrens hospices.
As a group we are also producing a specially designed piece of mixed media (mostly lace) picture to be donated to Honey Pot House childrens hospice, which will be displayed in their family room. A picture will follow when available.

- We are a very friendly group of about 100 (mostly)ladies. We meet on the first saturday of the month in Southampton. Each month we usually have a workshop taught by well known tutors from the crafting world. The workshops include lace, embroidery, felt, mounting, beading etc. Twice a year we also hold lace days, where we have lace and craft suppliers, a charity raffle and a speaker on a variety of subjects.
